This section has informational and educational videos, helpful websites in a variety of categories, PDFs of liturgical books, and PDFs with the documents and decrees regarding the Traditional Latin Mass from 1570 to 2023. This page is intended to be filled with traditional resources for the young and old, male and female, new attendees and long time attendees.
Some of the young adults at the parish publish a magazine called "The Saginaw Confessor". It is only available in print and costs $1 per issue. It covers topics from religious to culture to poetry, and much more. If you are interested in reading it, please speak to someone after Mass, or, reach out to them directly at Saginaw.Confessor@protonmail.com

Non-Roman Ancient Liturgical Rites:

Did you know that aside from the Roman Mass (the "Traditional Latin Mass") there are other liturgical rites almost as old and very ancient? The below videos contain some information about them!
(N.B. There are other ancient liturgical rites not included as of yet. We will add to the existing ones when videos of the absent ones are found)

The Carmelite Monastery of the Infant of Prague in Traverse City houses the only traditional monastery of Carmelite sisters in the state of Michigan. Currently, per the decree of His Excellency, R.R. Bp. Jeffery Walsh, 6th Bishop of the Diocese of Gaylord, all readings in their Latin Mass are promulgated in the vernacular. Witnessing it is a bit of a liturgical irregularity, but regardless, having such a monastery nearby is such a blessing, and visiting is highly recommended if you're in the area!

Fr. Z's Blog: ASK FATHER: Do indulgences listed in the old ‘Raccolta’ still apply today?
The short answer is: no, they don't still apply. The Raccolta has been placed here for historical purposes only, and may be a method of finding many, old, beautiful prayers & devotions. The Enchiridion Indulgentiarum 1999 is the current book of indulgences for the Church. Per the decree of the Sovereign Pontiff, His Holiness, St. Paul VI, any indulgences not contained in the Enchiridion Indulgentiarum are null & void.
